Elmee Cosmetics is an e-commerce of ‘clean beauty’ products that approached me in 2020 to develop their branding and identity. I designed the logo, brand guidelines, social media content, and packaging. Although I wasn’t originally involved in the website, I later took the initiative to design it and simultaneously rebrand Elmee to better reflect a more modern, cohesive visual direction aligned with current design standards and my creative vision.

Elmee’s look is clean and soft, using gentle colors that evoke wellness and self-care. The calm aesthetic is subtly energized by a hint of purple, which adds contrast while signaling a youthful vibe.
Playful micro-interactions
Typography plays a key role in the brand’s personality, interactions shift from serif to sans-serif on hover, adding a playful touch. Slowly moving ingredients in the background symbolise transparency and the natural essence of the beauty products. This subtle visual element reinforces a commitment to honest, clear formulations.
Bringing STRADE’s Vision to Life
The design is straightforward and user-friendly, focusing on clarity and accessibility. Carefully selected and edited images maintain consistency throughout, ensuring the user experience is smooth and engaging. Especially important for an e-commerce site, the design avoids overwhelming visitors while effectively guiding them toward confident purchases.
